Our Employment Counsellors are professionally trained and are committed to ensuring that clients get the assistance they need, employing a collaborative, client-centred approach. Individuals uncertain of their most suitable career direction can be assisted by completing personal profiles to identify career areas most likely to provide work satisfaction.
Counselling Services Include
- Assistance with identifying and resolving barriers to employment
- Assessment of needs
- Assessment of transferable skills
- Assistance developing Return-to-Work Action Plans
- Coaching to achieve goals set out in Return-to-Work Action Plans
- Referrals to appropriate support services
- Assistance with resume and cover letter preparation
- Assistance accessing the Internet for work search and labour market information
- Assistance with preparing financial documentation to access funding resources for training
- Provide personal coaching to increase work search and interview skills
