Job Overview: Reporting to the Gas Bar Division Manager you will be responsible for:
• Fostering a strong workplace culture aligned with Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence, while coaching and mentoring a small team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
• Supporting the development and achievement of operating plans and budgets, analyzing changes impacting the Gas Bar operations, and collaborating with the Division Manager to make adjustments.
• Partnering with the Marketing Department to design and execute merchandising strategies, maintain store appearance, and optimize equipment for maximum sales efficiency.
• Overseeing purchasing, inventory management, invoice reconciliation, shipping, and pricing strategies to minimize shrink and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Ensuring compliance with OHS programs and maintaining asset protection measures.
• Driving customer service improvements, increasing store sales, and enhancing profitability while collaborating with other departments and suppliers.
• Committing to mandatory and optional training to continually develop skills and knowledge.
What You Bring:
• Grade 12 preferred; diploma or equivalent management experience is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years managing teams of 5+ employees, ideally in a related or service industry.
• Experience with planning, budgeting, and operating statements.
• Knowledge of Gas Bar/Retail/Petroleum industry and inventory control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable, organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
