Position:                      Full-Time RN Manager

Location:                     Williams Lake, BC

Hours:                          40 hours per week

Wage:                           $83,000

Start Date:                  April 2021

Summary:

 

The Manager (RN) will oversee the LPN’S and Detox Workers including operations of the Withdrawal Management Program such as scheduling, personnel issues, ordering supplies and providing nursing duties to clients in a community health setting. This position will require a flexible schedule as after-hours work and weekends on call will be required.

 

Education / Training / Experience:

  • Management experience
  • Mental health and substance use experience
  • Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the – BC College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
  • Minimum 1 + year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience recognized by BCCNP

 

Requirements:

  • Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification
  • Approved Criminal Record Check & RCMP Check
  • Computer literacy
  • Safe driving record abstract
  • Safe driving record, valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and 2 million ICBC Insurance
  • Pre-employment drug test

  • Excellent verbal and written reporting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and work effectively with others in a 1:1 setting
  • Knowledge of theory, principles and practices working with addiction issues
  • Good organization, time and house management skills

  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be solution focused and approach problems with flexibility and creativity
