Cashiers 1 full time, 1 part time
Shop Easy is seeking out positive, friendly individuals to join the team to work together to create a safe, caring work environment with our staff dedicated to quality customer service. Currently seeking 1 full time and 1 part time cashier.
Start date is as soon as possible.
Job Description:
- Operate cash register, cash flow, debit cash machine transactions, scanners and scales.
- Managing the movement of bagging and boxing goods for customers
- Answering any customer inquires and use your knowledge of store layout and product content to give directions as needed.
- Handling merchandise with care and inspection for customer satisfaction.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Stock shelves and clean counter area
- Greet customers
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
Qualifications:
- Good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for customer service.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during work hours.
- Some heavy lifting required: bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods of time; comfortable with ladders.
- Able to work independently.
Wage:
- $17.40 per hour.
- 20-40 hours per week
- varying shifts
