The Nuxalk Nation is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the clean energy team!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year college, or 2 years of experience in project managing.
- Computer literate and familiar using Microsoft 365
- Ability to interact positively with the public, coworkers, Elected and Hereditary Leadership.
- Ability to maintain statistical programs data, files and record systems, financial records.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively, complete projects according to the outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Proficient with Xyntax accounting systems or firm understanding of financial reporting.
Duties:
- Predict resources that are required to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Organize and execute community engagement sessions with the clean energy team.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide Monthly progress reports to the Clean Energy Director, at the month end based on the assigned projects.
- Other duties as required.
