Administrative Assistant
Brent Bursey & Company Inc. is a full-service accounting firm providing accounting, audit, taxation, and advisory services to a wide variety of clients in northern British Columbia from offices in Prince George and Quesnel.
Our Quesnel office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As an administrative assistant you will support our leadership and team by managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring efficient office operations.
Position Title: Administrative Assistant – Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Quesnel, British Columbia
Employment Type: Temporary (30-40 hours per week with flexibility)
Compensation: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, dependent upon experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize appointments
- Assist in preparing, editing, and formatting financial reports, invoices, and correspondence
- Screen and direct incoming calls, emails, and mail
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Provide general administrative support
- Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Administrative experience in an office environment would be an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
