Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, finishing, and repair work. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a variety of work environments. This requires travel to various locations. Vehicle is required with a valid driver’s license.
Main Duties:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, measurements, and project requirements
– Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools
– Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, staircases, partitions, and doorframes
– Install finishes and fixtures such as doors, cabinets, paneling, and custom furniture
– Inspect, maintain, and repair structures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
– Operate leveling devices and precision tools to ensure accurate installation
– Perform basic calculations for material quantities, load requirements, and estimates
– Manage tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper use, storage, and maintenance
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
– Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project stakeholders- Provide advice to clients on materials, design options, and structural solutions when
required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
– Physically demanding; requires lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks
– Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined or elevated spaces
Employment Requirements:
– Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship (typically 3–4 years) or equivalent combination
of training and experience
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Strong problem-solving, mathematical, and communication skills
– Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience:
– Previous experience as a carpenter in construction or renovation projects is required
Additional Information:
 Wage: $27-$40 Depending on Experience
Benefits: Full medical, Dental after 3 months of probation
