Tile Setter / Tile Installer

Location: 100 Mile House, BC
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Wage: $27-$40 Depending on Experience

Benefits: Full medical, Dental after 3 months of probation
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tile Setter / Tile Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile for commercial projects. Must possess a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Measure and plan tile layout according to drawings and site conditions
• Prepare surfaces (cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, underlayment)
• Cut, install, and level tile using appropriate tools and materials
• Apply grout and sealants; finish and clean completed work
• Repair or replace damaged or defective tile
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a tile setter or tile installer
• Knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, marble, and stone installations
• Ability to read measurements and layout plans
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Physically able to lift materials and work on knees for extended periods
• Own basic tile-setting tools (preferred)
• Reliable transportation with a Valid BC DL
Assets: (Nice to Have)
• Red Seal certification or apprenticeship training
• Experience with waterproofing systems (showers, bathrooms)
• Commercial tiling experience
