The Mill Pub and The Marsh House in Quesnel is currently searching for a Janitor to join our fast paced pub and restaurant.
Position Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant and pub. This role is essential in ensuring our establishment meets health and safety standards and provides a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all public areas, including dining rooms, bar area, washrooms, and entryway
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces
- Restock washroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
- Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management
Wage: $20 per hour
