Job Title: Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Weekend Specialist)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to lead our Saturday field operations. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys the autonomy of field work and wants to provide high-quality mechanical repair and maintenance directly at the customer’s location ensuring that downtime is kept to a minimum when it matters most.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Diagnostics: Travel to commercial and or remote locations
• Heavy Machine Diagnostics: Troubleshooting complex failures in engines, powertrains, and hydrostatic drives.
• Advanced Hydraulics: Repairing and rebuilding high-pressure hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, and multi-spool valves.
• Undercarriage & Ground Engaging Tools: Assessing and repairing tracks, rollers, idlers, and bucket/blade components in the field.
• Electrical: Diagnosing 12/24V electrical systems.
• Welding & Fabrication: Performing basic field welding and torch work to repair structural cracks or failed attachments.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 40 Hours/ Week – Saturdays & four days during the week
• Pay: Starting at $39/Hour – pending experience
• Benefits: Extended medical, dental & vision following 3-month probationary period.
• Equipment: Fully equipped heavy-duty service truck provided, including crane and air compressor.
• PPE: Steel Toe boots required – all other PPE will be provided

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in heavy equipment/off-road machinery
• Certification: Certification is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
• Skills: Independent, problem solver, time management
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Communication: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while providing excellent customer service & reporting back to office
• Physicality: Ability to maneuver heavy components and work in awkward positions for extended periods. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs is necessary.
