Resource Management Consultants

 

Wages: $70,000-95,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive wages with a Benefit package after 3 months. Candidates who meet the preferred qualifications will receive pay commensurate with experience and qualifications. Less qualified individuals who are considered will be considered at lesser compensation.

Hours:  A Monday to Friday work week with weekends and holidays off. 10hrs/day field. 9hrs/day office.

 

Cariboo Forest Consultants Ltd (CFC) is seeking a FOREST PROFESSIONAL. CFC is a well-established Forestry Consultants company located in Quesnel, BC. We have been providing Professional Experienced Consulting Services since 1980.

 

Our expanded services include Management Plan, Appraisals, Multi-phase layout, Timber Block & Road Layout, Stream Assessments, Cruising, Waste Surveys, Mapping, GPS, Electronic Submissions and VIA.

 

Qualifications:

  • We are currently looking for Full time Professionals. Individuals registered with the Forest Professionals of BC (FPBC) with 3+ years’ experience in the field of multiphase forestry including professional report writing are preferred.
  • Graduates of a university or college who are eligible for registration with FPBC are welcome to apply.
  • The ability to work alone or with limited supervision
  • Experience supervising field crew will be considered an asset
  • Experience in managing BCTS contracts, including working with their LRM system, is preferred
  • Experience working with ARCGIS is preferred
  • Team orientated, safety conscious and reliable
  • Experience in all-terrain vehicles operation
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract required

 

For the field portion of this position, it needs to be understood that this is a physical demanding job which includes walking uneven terrain daily, operating sleds and quads and dealing with changing weather conditions.
