Class 1 Driver/Equipment Operator

Job Overview

Buckin’ Horse Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced (min 3yrs) Class 1 gravel truck driver/equipment operator (mainly excavator) to join our team.

Duties:
Hauling gravel, asphalt, and equipment.
Operating equipment doing various projects.
Weekly basic maintenance and washing.
Job is based in 100 Mile House, however candidate may be required to work out of town occasionally for projects.

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 drivers license.
Clean drivers abstract.
Knowledge of securing loads, and transportation standards.
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks as required.
Candidate must be living in the 100 Mile House area.

Experience:

Commercial driving: 3 years (required)

Class 1 Licence (required)

Wage: $34-$36 per hour
