The Opportunity:
As a Pipefitter/Steamfitter, you will perform ‘hands on’ worked required based on the criticality and availability of equipment at Pine River Gas Plant. Perform rig/lift components and torque/tension bolted joints, filling out reports as required. Knowledge of maintenance procedures and engineering standards to ensure maintenance projects adhere to compliance. Be able to read and interpret full scale drawings of pipe systems, line classes, supports, and related equipment, following Isometrics and P&ID’s. You will be responsible for facilitating safe, reliable and cost-effective production while working with Operations group of Pine River Gas Plant. As a team member, you will be required to support and promote our culture of safety and continuous improvement.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Journeyperson or Red Seal Pipefitter/Steamfitter
- 2+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong computer skills – working knowledge of Word, Excel, CMMS.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are critical to this position.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalent.

- Job Location: Pine River Gas Plant, Chetwynd, BC
- Shift Schedule: 4 On, 3 Off (Mon-Thur) 9.3hr/day
- Stat Holidays off
- Wage Rate: $61.91- $67.77 (Dependent on Qualifications)
- Northern Living Allowance ($953.16/month)
