Position: Full Time Payroll Assistant
Location: Williams Lake, BC
Salary: $65,000 – $68,000 per year to start
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Summary:
Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring a Full Time Payroll Assistant in Williams Lake, BC. You will be responsible for supporting and operating our internal payroll system with 1200+ employees and maintaining accurate payroll and benefits records and following accounting processes in accordance with all statutory requirements within the unionized workplace. The successful person will be working within a large finance team.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12, plus 1- 2 years’ experience working in payroll administration or a combination of training and experience
- Familiarity working with collective agreements is an asset
- Must be proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Strong customer service, clerical, and data entry skills
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to perform repetitious tasks under time constraints
- A Payroll Compliance Professional or Canadian Payroll certification is an asset
- Clear criminal record check (Agency conducted)
