If you have the following skills and attributes we would like to talk to you.

• Machinist Trade Qualifications (3rd year Apprentice or higher)
• Experience in manual machine shop setting
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Ability to adhere to company Drug & Alcohol Policy
• Self-motivated; work under minimal supervision; take direction; reliable and willing to work around tight deadlines and work overtime when required
• Ability to read work orders & interpret drawings for work requirements, read drawings to accurately produce parts and assemblies.
• Ability to work off provided customer parts to repair/modify or manufacture new replacement parts
• Math and analytical abilities, attention to detail
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
• Good verbal communication skills with co-workers and customers
• Take Pride in your team, the work you produce, and the machinery you use.

The following additional skills and/or experience are not required but would be considered an asset:

• Line Boring
• Millwright experience
• Fabrication and Welding experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Prototrac CNC Experience
• Mining or Sawmill Industrial Experience

Wage: $36.29 to $45.37 an hour

Position has full-time work load; training and mentoring opportunities are available; potentially flexible work schedules (but including ability to work night shifts and weekends); compensation is commensurate on experience and qualification level.
