The City invites applications for a Parks Lead Hand (Seasonal). Under the general supervision of the Parks and Facilities Manager, Parks Supervisor or designate, the Parks Lead Hand oversees the City’s Parks Seasonal Workers.  Duties include supervising employees in one of the parks sports fields, gardening, or grass cutting divisions.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification.
  • Considerable knowledge of equipment, tools, practices, materials, and methods related to horticulture and landscaping.
  • Minimum 1.5 years supervisory experience.
