Summit Earthworks Inc. is a growing company committed to safety, reliability, and high-quality service. As we continue to expand our trucking fleet, we are seeking experienced and dependable Class 1 Drivers to join our team.

Position Overview

The Class 1 Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials while maintaining high standards of safety, equipment care, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver materials in a timely manner
• Operate various units including:
  • Truck & Pony
  • End Dumps
  • Tri-Tri
  • Truck & Transfer
• Manage all aspects of loading and unloading, including proper load securement
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in safe working condition
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Record hours of service, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance concerns promptly
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations at all times
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Load securement training (preferred)
• Hours of Service training (considered an asset)
• Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
