Construction Worker

At 2 Guys Construction Inc., our workers perform a variety of jobs during all phases of construction.

We’re looking for a highly productive and reliable construction worker to join our teams at various sites.

The role entails a wide range of tasks, from basic to difficult to hazardous.

These may include clearing and preparing a site; building scaffolds, barricades, bracing, and other structures; and operating concrete mixers, jackhammers, saws, drills, and more. 2 Guys Construction Inc. is committed to customer satisfaction, and we’re looking for someone to grow with our company, both independently and as part of a team.

Objectives of this role

• Finish general construction tasks according to blueprints
• Assist craft workers such as contractors, electricians, and painters when necessary
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all job sites
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
• Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by coworkers

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience in performing general labor and construction with a good work ethic
• Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to get to muster point
• Willing to travel when needed, expenses will be paid for accommodations and meal(s)

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Ability to communicate in more than one language
• Familiarity with how to read blueprints

Wage $ 20-40 Depending  on the experience 

We offer extended medical after 1 month of probation and bonuses will be considered when projects have been completed in the timely manner allotted.
