BGC Williams Lake Club provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. BGC’s Mountain Bike Program provides youth with adventure-based learning in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. We’re seeking an experienced, confident rider who is passionate about mentoring youth and leading engaging trail rides in our community.

Schedule & Term

• Tuesdays (3:00–6:00 PM) – Co-ed Group (Ages 9+)
• Wednesdays (3:00–6:00 PM) – Girls-Only Group (Ages 9+)
• Additional time for ride planning and team meetings
• Seasonal position: Early May to mid-October (weather permitting)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise youth (ages 9+) on weekly rides
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and skill-building environment
• Plan and organize progressive rides and activities
• Support bike and equipment maintenance
• Maintain accurate attendance, incident reports, and staff communication logs
• Uphold BGC policies, procedures, and professional standards

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mountain biking experience
• Strong knowledge of local mountain bike trails
• First Aid Level 1 (minimum)
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Must be 19 years or oldTop of Form
