Retail Sales Associate

We’re currently hiring a Retail Sales Associate/Housekeeping Support to join our well-established team in Williams Lake. Burgess PHE is proud to offer a supportive, fast-paced, and friendly workplace that values work/life balance and flexibility.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
• Pay: Starting at $17.85 per hour
• Hours: 32 hours per week
• Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In-person

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and ensure they have a positive, helpful in-store experience
• Assist with product selection and purchasing decisions
• Stay up to date on current promotions and sales
• Accurately process customer transactions
• Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns in a professional, friendly manner
• Keep the sales floor tidy and welcoming
• Perform light housekeeping duties in the office and retail space

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy, customer-facing environment
• Great communication skills and a friendly attitude
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, or electrical products is an asset, but not required— we’ll train the right person!

Education:

Secondary school diploma (preferred)

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
