Are you a passionate, certified figure skating coach looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, growing club? The Quesnel Figure Skating Club (QFSC) is seeking a dynamic coach to join our team in beautiful Quesnel, British Columbia! About the Position We are offering:

  • Up to 15 hours of on-ice coaching per week
  • Up to 10 hours of administrative time
  • Up to 4 hours of off-ice training time

This position provides flexibility, a positive coaching environment, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of talented skaters ranging from CanSkate to STARSkate levels.

Job Description:

  • On-ice coaching for skaters at various levels
  • Off-ice training and athlete development
  • Administrative duties related to coaching programs
  • Collaboration with the Director of Skating on lesson planning and program delivery
  • Adapting coaching styles to meet the individual needs of each athlete

Job Requirements:

  • Certified Skate Canada Coach in good standing
  • Previous coaching experience required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Must reside in the Quesnel area or be willing to commute at own expense
  • Enjoys working with youth in a positive, supportive environment
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and open to collaboration
  • Current First Aid and Skate Canada Membership in good standing
  • Experience working with a range of skating levels
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
