Position                             Technician – Developing Digital Dictionary for the BLRI

Renumeration               $30/hour

Time Allocation            10 hours per week (2 hours per day)

Location                           West Moberly Council Building & Online (hybrid)

 

 

Job Description

To work with and support curriculum development team to create a digital dictionary which is compatible with the Beaver language materials developed at WestMo. The successful applicant will have guidance and support as the project develops but needs to be self motivated and have good time management skills

 

 

Primary Roles

To work in concert with the WMFN Beaver language team to develop a digital dictionary which provides an image, its name in Dunne-Za, the pronunciation of the word/image written out and electronically recorded, and the English spelling.

 

 

Primary Skill Set

While formal education is not required, the successful applicant must have strong technical skill set and be comfortable in a digital environment. The ability to learn on the job and teach oneself are considered key attributes.

 

 

Time Commitment – 36 hours per month

Averaging two hours each day, and following the WMFN work schedule of taking every other Friday off.
