Ability to manage the preparation of food for 25+ people.

This person will be responsible to plan and prepare meals and purchase of all required food to the worksite. Any other duties as required or assigned. Demonstrated ability to manage the preparation of food for 25+ people with various nutritional needs. Demonstrated dependability, reliability and responsibility as evidenced by recent performance appraisals. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing individual needs. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated; take initiative and be an effective member of a team. Demonstrated good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with residents and team members. Good community knowledge and demonstrated ability to network with professional community-based resources and maintain positive relationships.

Grade 10 Certificate in Professional Cook Level 2 and a minimum of  one year recent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have completed hiring requirements specifically: First Aid and CPR certification, Food Safe Level 1, WHMIS, Clean Criminal Record Search, doctors’ statement of good health, TB Screening and COVID vaccination.
