CLOTHING DEPARTMENT – MANAGER
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Department Manager to lead our clothing and promotional products division, producing custom apparel through embroidery, heat pressing, silk-screening, and promotional products. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, team-focused leader, and enjoys working with customers while supporting hands-on production.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Management
- Work with customers to understand needs and take detailed orders
- Coordinate designs and proof approvals
- Maintain clear communication throughout projects
Team Leadership & Production Coordination
- Lead and support production staff
- Schedule workflows for embroidery, heat pressing, silk-screening, and promotional products
- Assist with production as needed and foster a positive team environment
Production & Technical Oversight
- Maintain quality control for all decorated products
- Operate or learn embroidery and heat press equipment
- Troubleshoot production issues and guide solutions
Inventory & Administration
- Manage inventory of apparel and supplies
- Track materials and reorder as needed
- Assist with job tracking and invoicing
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CorelDRAW, Wilcom, QuickBooks Online, or similar software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new equipment and techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Starting $25/hour, negotiable DOE
