Housekeeping Room Attendant

Wage: $20.75-$24/per hour

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Work location: 2 Lakeview Ave, Williams Lake, BC V2G 1B2

Language: English

Education: No formal education required

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish supplies as needed
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a clean environment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and supply areas
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
• Assist guests with requests for additional supplies or other items
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns
• Ensure all work areas are organized and safe for staff and guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is an asset
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning methods, or hotel housekeeping standards is an asset
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable with a strong work ethic, punctual, and positive attitude
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly

Work conditions:

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required
