Wage: $40.00-43.50 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment to fabricate metal components.
• Interpret and read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Operate press brake machines and other machinery for metal shaping and forming.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, grinding, and assembly.
• Rig materials safely for lifting and transportation within the work area.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.

Requirements

• Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding.
• Experience with fabricating metal components from raw materials.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts for material handling.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Valid drivers license – field work may be required.
• Mechanical knowledge an asset.
