Equipment Operator/Class 1 Driver

Job Overview

Buckin’ Horse Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced (min 3yrs) Class 1 gravel truck driver/equipment operator (mainly excavator) to join our team.

Duties

• Hauling gravel, asphalt, and equipment.
• Operating equipment doing various projects.
• Weekly basic maintenance and washing.
• Job is based in 100 Mile House, however candidate may be required to work out of town occasionally for projects.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 drivers license.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• Knowledge of securing loads, and transportation standards.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks as required.
• Candidate must be living in the 100 Mile House area.

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (required)
