Parts/service/sales for a busy Motorsports and Marine dealer

Job Title: Parts Service & Salesperson

Reports To: Parts Manager / Service Manager

Location: South Cariboo Motor Sports and Cariboo Country Marine

Employment Type: Full-Time/part time

Position Summary; we are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Parts Service & Salesperson to join our growing motorsports dealership team. This position is responsible for assisting retail and service customers with parts and accessory sales, supporting the service department with accurate parts sourcing, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has a passion for motorsports and marine.  Strong product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities are Customer Sales & Service. Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and over the phone.

Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories.
Provide product recommendations and upsell related items when appropriate.
Process sales transactions accurately through the dealership POS system.
Handle special orders, backorders, and customer follow-ups.
Service Department Support. Pull and stage parts for repair orders in a timely manner.
Communicate with service technicians regarding parts availability.
Ensure accurate parts pricing and billing on repair orders.
Assist in warranty parts processing and returns.
Inventory & Operations. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled parts displays.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
Process returns and core credits per manufacturer guidelines.
Monitor fast-moving inventory and notify management of restocking needs.
Be keen to learn or have knowledge about hydraulic hoses.
Must be able to work Saturdays.

Qualifications: High school diploma as a min.

Prior experience in powersports, automotive, or parts sales preferred.
Strong knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, marine, small engines or other motorsports equipment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (inventory systems, POS systems, email)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
