We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofing Labourer to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting experienced roofers with various tasks related to roofing projects, including installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial structures.
You will work as part of a team under the direction of a foreman, following safety protocols and instructions.

Reports To: Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with Roofing Tasks:

Unloading and carrying tools and materials to and from the job site.
Assisting with the removal of old roofing materials.
Preparing surfaces for new roofing materials.
Setting up and dismantling scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment.
Assisting with the installation of roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, metal, and other roofing components.
Cleaning up job sites and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Safety:
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Recognizing and addressing potential safety hazards.

Other Duties:
Performing other tasks as assigned by the foreman.
Maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, work at heights, and withstand various weather conditions.

Basic Skills:
Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:
Previous experience in construction or roofing is preferred but not required.  Driver’s licence is preferred but not required.

Safety Knowledge:
Understanding of basic safety procedures and the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Purpose

The Infant Development Consultant will provide home-based, early intervention services for infants with, or at risk for developmental delays. The IDP Consultant provides early intervention services to infants, assisting families in acquiring tools, skills and community connections needed to promote optimal child development.
