  5. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the CFO’s style and organization policy.
  6. Work closely with the CFO to keep well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  7. Anticipate the CFO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
  8. Maintain open communications with the WLFN Finance team.
  9. Manage Finance Manual, Finance Support Manual, Finance presentation, FAL Work Plan, Tangible Capital Asset Ledger upkeep,

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Current full registration as a Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
  • Registration with Restricted Activities A and C for designing, dispensing and/or administering therapeutic diets through enteral means as set out in the College Bylaws.
  • Two (2) years’ recent, related clinical experience in a medical/surgical care setting.

Contract Details

Role Overview The Project Facilitator will coordinate and support the Revive Thrive Initiative, a community-driven poverty reduction project guided by the Communities Ending Poverty (CEP) Leadership Table. In partnership with Tamarack Community and the Western Canada Leads Initiative, the role focuses on community engagement, planning local pop-up service events, and developing a lived/living experience advisory group. The facilitator will help maintain momentum, foster collaboration, and ensure local voices and leadership stay central to the initiative.

 

Key Responsibilities
1. CEP Leadership Table Coordination

  • Facilitate regular communication and engagement with the CEP Leadership Table.
  • Support discussions, decision-making, and track collective commitments.
  • Ensure community-driven guidance shapes the project.

2. Pop-Up Project Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate in-person pop-up events, including logistics and partner engagement.
  • Work closely with service providers to ensure they are prepared and supported.
  • Assist in maintaining project momentum and tracking milestones.

3. Lived/Living Experience Advisory Group

  • Establish and support an advisory group of at least three people with lived or living experience.
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate meaningful input into project design and evaluation.
  • Ensure their insights are integrated into project planning.

4. Community Engagement & Communication

  • Work with SPC and the Leadership Table to share project updates locally.
  • Provide content and photos to support communications and outreach materials.
  • Maintain simple data tracking systems for project deliverables.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in community development, project coordination, and/or social services.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain local relationships with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity with poverty reduction strategies and working with lived experience groups.
