Moving Helper

Reliable Swamper needed immediately for local moves, mostly household furniture. You will be expected to wear clean clothing and be presentable in appearance. Your willingness to accept directions from the crew boss is essential. Scent-free preferred, as we work in close-quarters in peoples’ homes. Some heavy physical work involved, lifting up to 100 pounds. Driver’s license not necessary, but definitely an asset.

This position requires you to be absolutely reliable above all else – everything counts on you being there!

This job is permanent, part-time, so you will be on call. We work hard and sometimes long hours, but the schedule does allow plenty of free time and days off between moves. There is occasional evening and weekend work, and plans can change on short notice, so flexibility is an asset. Tipping is common.

Moving is seasonal, and is usually busier at month’s end.

$18 – 20/hr., based on your ability.
