The Ashcroft Travel Centre Esso is currently seeking part-time Fuel/Convenience Attendants.

Duties:

  • Provide individualized, friendly, helpful and courteous customer service
  • Enable customers to make their purchases in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well stocked environment
  • Ensure products and services sold are up to the standards and expectations of management and customers

Specific activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Opening/Closing the travel centre
  • Welcoming customers and helping them find products and services
  • Preparing and packaging bakery items
  • Ringing in, accepting payment and making change for the products and services sold including propane, convenience, lottery tickets, truckers lounge, etc.
  • Generating lottery tickets

Qualifications:

Bookkeeping Position Job Description

Primary function of this job is to enter and maintain the company accounting system, Sage 300 (Accpac).

Data entry, maintenance and reporting include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, General Ledger and Payroll.

This function will include regular daily and month-end processes.

Daily banking and submissions, EFT processing and cheque writing.

Payroll includes maintaining employee payroll records.

Maintaining and submitting remittances to Receiver General for GST and payroll,  Ministry of Finance for Provincial Sales Taxes.

 

Successful employee will require to have good practical experience with bookkeeping/accounting.

Wages are negotiable.

Part time position, Monday to Friday, up to 20 hours per week.
