We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with Chief, Council, head departments, and auditors to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable with the accounting and tax needs of First Nations and Aboriginal organizations, holds a Finance degree, and is familiar with the SAGE accounting software packages. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of Toosey Indian Band.
