Position Summary:
The Department Supervisor contributes to the success of a store by leading through example. This role is responsible for supervising and leading the department in providing high quality service that ensures customer satisfaction and profitability for the store. The Department Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of the products in their department as well as excellent communication skills to help when training new team members, to build relationships and create lifetime customers, and to help generate sales (We Care Plus). They must remain flexible and adaptable as well as maintain a professional attitude.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Encourage and maintain a culture that values excellent customer experience through training, supervision, coaching.
• Respond to and handles customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
• Plan and execute seasonal merchandising projects and make schedules (based on the allocated budgets and needs).
• Supervise and assist team members in daily departmental operations in order to meet established productivity goals.
• Maintain department inventory and fullness through accurate stock levels, bin caps and product locating.
• Perform group huddles to inform team about in-store promotions, in-store deals, and new product locations.
• Perform the orientation and training of new employees, store opening and closing responsibilities.
• Communicate and ensure compliance of company/store/department policies and H & S programs and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a Canadian Tire store is an asset.
• Experience in retail sales, execution, and operations.
• Good working knowledge of department products and functions.
• Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience, or relevant experience.
• Excellent ability to solve problems and conflicts
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule

Health & Safety Administrator
Our company is seeking a driven and experienced individual for the position of Safety Administrator working from the 4Evergreen Resources office in Mobley Lake and reporting directly to the company Health and Safety Manager.
The primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, Construction Safety Officers, and OFA Level III personnel. This position requires a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, regulation, policies, and procedures, and an ability to organize daily, weekly, and monthly safety clerical tasks.
Tasks will include the creation, collection, and maintenance of all essential OHS project documentation and statistical records. As well as managing and organizing company orientations, training and assisting in our various compliance sites and other applications.
Applicants with a background in construction, forestry, oil and gas and mines safety administration would be a great asset.
Expectations
· Assist safety management in preparation of safety documentation, filing and distribution as instructed.
· Attend daily/monthly safety, progress, site coordination and management meetings – as required
· Prepare meeting reports.
· Work collaboratively with safety team and project teams both at main office and on project site(s)
· Able to work in a team setting and independently
Qualifications
· Must have a minimum of 3 years in clerical, administrative tasks.
· Be a strong collaborator, communicator (both spoken and written),
· Be able to pass a D&A test.
· Be attentive to detail and document filing
· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Strong command of MS Office
· Strong knowledge of Excel essential
· Class 5 Driver’s License
