Wage: $21.63 per hour, for 40.00 hours per week

Job Duties:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

·         Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.

·         Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.

·         Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.

·         Recruit, train and supervise staff.

·         Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school.

Experience:  Completion of diploma or degree in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or 2 year of Supervisory experience within the food sector or at least 2-3 years of previous experience in food preparation or service is required.

Language: English is required.

Additional Skills: Conduct performance reviews, Organize and maintain inventory

Seeking mature, stable, responsible person for unique position as a personal secretary, tasks are varied.

This is a solo practitioner medical office so some computer skills are mandatory, however training will be offered.

This is also a practice/hobby farm on Chimney Valley Road, about 12 minutes out of downtown.

Good references are essential. Salary negotiable and dependent on experience.

Qualifications:

• Applicant must be able to work independently, be reliable and in good physical condition.
• Applicant must be neat and organized.
• Applicant must be compassionate and get along well with people.
• Monday to Friday, approximately 4 hours per day.

This is also a small hobby farm and duties also involve:

• Feeding and tending to the animals.
• Applicant must have some farm experience and be familiar with horses, cows, poultry, sheep, goats, llamas and pigs.
• Must also be able to assist the farrier.
• These tasks usually take 2-3 hours per day.
• Should be able to competently operate a John Deere tractor.
• Duties also include going to town (using farm’s truck) to pick up vet meds, transporting animals to vet and groomer, pick up feed, take paperwork to accountants, etc. plus do some personal errands.
• This could add an additional 1-2 hours when required.
