Veterinary Assistant-Lakeland Veterinary Clinic

We will train the successful applicant. The most important requirements are a good attitude, intelligence, motivation, and attention to detail.

The bad: The work can occasionally be physically demanding.  A lot of cleaning is involved; we get dirty. The ability to work late occasionally, on a unpredictable basis, is required.  The pay is not great, particularly with respect to the degree of responsibility.  Bad things happen to good animals.

The good: We have a great team.  No other job has the degree of variety we do, and coupled with the inherent sense of purpose in helping animals, it makes a career in this area a remarkable experience. Extended medical and dental benefits will be offered after a probationary period.

Please present a resume in person to reception if possible.
