Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the successful candidate provides comprehensive case management services to clients. Responsibilities in this role include:
- facilitating client access to appropriate services and supports.
- providing Clients with assistance, direction and support to increase their employability and to attain and maintain employment and self-sufficiency.
- conducting formal needs assessments and provides on-going case management services.
- developing, revising and reviewing realistic action plans with clients.
- providing guidance, support and referrals to other services to support clients to overcome their identified barriers.
- maintaining client files ensuring client information is entered into the Integrated Case Management system (ICM) in a timely and accurate manner.
- maintaining strict confidentiality of the company, Staff and Clients and is especially cognizant of applicable privacy protocols.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or diploma or combination of equivalent education and experience in Employment Counselling or Career Development.
- Minimum 2 years direct experience in employment services/career development. Preferably in a case management capacity.
- Familiarity with the Employment Program of British Columbia (EPBC). Experience working in the EPBC and utilizing the Integrated Case Management System (ICM) is preferred.
- Proficient with business technology; administrative ability with advanced computer/technical skills and experience, including MS office, social media, and internet navigation and research.
- Strong problem solving ability and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of diverse client groups and/or matters related to the program area
- Criminal Record check required.
