Qualifications

Our team of Servers are more of a part of the dinning experience, offering recommendations and wine pairings.  The just right candidate/s should have great communication skills and be able to multi-task.  Must have Serving it Right.  Benefits include food and beverage discounts, RSP group plan and Social Committee.

Gaming Security Officer

Job Description

The main responsibility of a Gaming Security Officer is to greet each guest coming and leaving the facility.  You must be able to perform ID checks on all individuals appearing to be 25 years or younger and be able to take direction from your Management team.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

Our new security officer/s will be required to obtain Gaming Security Certification through an on-line course with the Justice Institute of BC. (We will talk about this at the interview stage; we may also pay for this course for that just right new staff member.)  Must have or be able to obtain Level 1 First aid & Serving it Right.

Housekeeping / Janitor

  • The ideal person should be willing to work weekdays and weekends 9:30 am to 2:30 pm or 3:30 pm
  • Must be physically fit in order to vacuum and mop floors
  • Must be able to prioritize, take direction and be reliable

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, the successful candidate provides comprehensive case management services to clients. Responsibilities in this role include:

  • facilitating client access to appropriate services and supports.
  • providing Clients with assistance, direction and support to increase their employability and to attain and maintain employment and self-sufficiency.
  • conducting formal needs assessments and provides on-going case management services.
  • developing, revising and reviewing realistic action plans with clients.
  • providing guidance, support and referrals to other services to support clients to overcome their identified barriers.
  • maintaining client files ensuring client information is entered into the Integrated Case Management system (ICM) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • maintaining strict confidentiality of the company, Staff and Clients and is especially cognizant of applicable privacy protocols.

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma or combination of equivalent education and experience in Employment Counselling or Career Development.
  • Minimum 2 years direct experience in employment services/career development. Preferably in a case management capacity.
  • Familiarity with the Employment Program of British Columbia (EPBC). Experience working in the EPBC and utilizing the Integrated Case Management System (ICM) is preferred.
  • Proficient with business technology; administrative ability with advanced computer/technical skills and experience, including MS office, social media, and internet navigation and research.
  • Strong problem solving ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of diverse client groups and/or matters related to the program area
  • Criminal Record check required.

Yard Work

Looking for someone to do various yard work duties starting this week for two days, all of next week, possibly the week after and then periodically.

You will need to drive to McLeese Lake which is 25 miles and I will pay a reasonable price for your travel.

You must be able to: take instructions, work hard, do a full day’s work, work without being supervised, work with ambition, be on time, pack your lunch, water, and leave your cell phone in your car while we are working.

Job includes weeding gardens, edging, screening and mixing dirt, planting, raking and picking up piles, possible painting and sanding, various outdoor chores.

Laundromat Clerk

We are looking for a P/T employee to join our team. This individual will be self motivated, a multi tasker, with a pleasant manner, who enjoys working with the public.

Duties include:handling of cash, bachelor laundry services, clean up, working with incoming and outgoing coveralls and rugs. (The company rents & supplies rugs to businesses around town) The rugs entail being  washed, hung up, dried, and folded.

You must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry rugs and coveralls.

Hours would be 2pm till 8 pm Monday and Tuesday and as required depending on work load. Could work into more hours during summer

Position is for cooking and kitchen care, no food ordering or cost calculating or menu prep required, just your great cooking skills
