Qualifications for this role include:

Bachelor degree in a related resource management field (e.g., forestry, geography, agrology, environmental science) and/or a diploma in geographic information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five years’ experience designing and developing customized spatial solutions and delivering spatial analysis projects in support of clients’ business needs.
Minimum three years’ experience using ESRI GIS products, in particular ArcGIS.
Advanced ability and demonstrated experience scripting Python to automate GIS solutions.
Experience managing projects based on project management principles.
Experience preparing and presenting strategic land and resource management technology issues and recommendations to multi-stakeholder planning tables, and/or senior management.
Experience using sound technical knowledge and analytical skills with geospatial tools including GIS, relational databases, remote sensing and related technologies to support complex land and resource management issues.
Experience in the development and maintenance of data management policies, procedures, systems and standards.
