Employment Assistance Service Employment Coordinator
CCATEC (Cariboo Chilcotin Aboriginal Training Employment Centre) located in Williams Lake is seeking an experienced Employment Coordinator who will provide an Employment Assistance Service. Services will be provided to First Nations who reside in the Cariboo region.

Duties will include but not limited to:
- Collect and maintain employment and training information
- Assess individual barriers to employment and training
- Interview clients to determine their suitability for employment or training
- Assist clients with their resume
- Maintain a job vacancy bulletin board
- Refer clients to suitable employment opportunities
- Prepare and assist clients with their job interviews
- Network with local employers to promote clientele
- Assist clients to overcome barriers that may prevent them from gaining meaningful employment
- Provide referrals and network with First Nations and related organizations that may assist clients with their employment and/or training
- Refer and contract training activities
- Complete required written reports to CCATEC
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license
- Access to reliable transportation
- Relevant and identified training and education
- Knowledge and application of Microsoft Programs
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Minimum of Grade 12
Full time: Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wage rate: $20.00
