Salary $62,983.74 – $78,666.02 annually

Take a lead role in developing creative management solutions to strategic resource management issues

The Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development [FLNRORD] is responsible for stewardship of the province’s Crown land and natural resources. Overseeing a land base of 94.8 million hectares, the ministry makes, supports and advises on stewardship decisions for BC’s land and resources, and delivers services to provide environmental, economic, cultural and social benefits for all British Columbians.

Land use planning is one of a suite of approaches that the ministry can use to sustain important ecosystems and processes, resolve resource use issues and enhance certainty for environmental and economic goals.
