Rock and River Rustic Resort in Walhachin, BC is currently seeking seasonal General Labourers. Wage is dependent upon experience ($11.35-$14.00 per hour). A $20.00 per day gas allowance will also be offered.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Mowing lawns
  • Raking camp sites
  • Weed-wacking
  • Painting
  • Minor Repairs
  • Night time security checks (possibly)

Qualifications:

THE ROLE

Assistant Store Managers with Warehouse One are responsible for leading a team that confidently provides our customers with a shopping experience that is friendly, committed, caring, and real.  Assistant Store Managers support the Store Manager to achieve the sales objectives, encourage team member performance and ensure efficient store operations

  • Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer and all other aspects of customer service and coaching all team members to do the same
  • Driving Warehouse One brand loyalty through being knowledgeable about, and informing customers of, our Perks customer loyalty program and encouraging all team members to do the same
  • Creating and fostering a positive work environment where all team members are driven to meet and exceed store performance goals
  • Overseeing store operations, including shift task organization and store opening and closing duties
  • Performing POS (point of sales transactions) and ensuring the store is visually appealing through participation in product presentation, store housekeeping and visual displays
  • Staying current on fashion trends and Warehouse One’s product, styles and fits
  • In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager must have the ability to oversee all store operations including: opening and closing the store, store cleanliness, re-stocking and merchandising, customer service and supervision of the store team
