• Ordering and selling parts over the telephone or in person
• Using electronic catalogues and in-house business systems for stock numbers, pricing, maintaining stock and inventory
• Inspecting damaged parts brought in by customers to determine the proper replacement
• Identifying the necessary parts based on the customer’s complaint
• Examining returned parts for defects and conferring with customers about exchanges and refunds
• Marking incoming parts
• Friendly, courteous reception of all customers to the parts and service department
• Effective assessment of customer needs
• Recommending additional required service work
• Quality communication with technical staff
• Keeping customers updated of unit status
• Closing work orders
• Working with parts team to ensure proper parts ordered
• Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
• Perform new delivery walk-through demonstrations
